Bahama House

We stayed at the start of October so probably nowhere near peak demand. We got a great deal on a two room suite with two bathrooms, a kitchen, and two balconies for less than a night at the cheapest Disney room. I enjoyed watching the sun set off the back of the balcony with a beer that was included with my stay and sunrise over the beach. The way the building is laid out, there are no rooms that cannot see the ocean. My kids and I got to play in the surf then transition to the pool. The hotel is being updated so there were people coming and going but all were super polite and were doing work during reasonable hours. The desk staff was accommodating. Wifi is available. The biggest drawback for me was that only one of two elevators worked and it needed encouragement to do so. I was glad to visit somewhere new and would recommend this place to any friend staying in Daytona Beach.

First time at hotel with my mom and family and let me tell you the service was excellent,the ladies from front desk very nice and helpful also ladies from bar, people serving breakfast and also housekeeping everyone is so friendly and helpful!!!! Rooms were so clean,beds are very comfortable and pillows as well also room smelled good we even booked another night because we loved it .my kids had a great time here . I highly recommend ,no need to look for another hotel this one is perfect and will be coming back here!!!!! - We are the Eastman-

We loved the Bahama House! The staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful. The young man working the front desk (Jacob) was very helpful checking us in. He gave us local recommendations and had a crib brought to our room for our baby when we forgot to ask. We liked that the pool stayed open until 10pm, and thought the location was fantastic. Our room was very clean and spacious as well. We wished we could’ve stayed longer, but look forward to coming back someday!

I stayed here for two nights and I got the ocean front room which comes with a balcony and beautiful views of the oceans. I was on the second floor so my pictures from the balcony reflect that. I only took one star off because the hot tub was out of service throughout the stay, Even though I called the day before and they verified it was in service. So I would call and verify the pool and the hot tub are open. Overall I enjoyed my stay. They're outdoor pool is a heated pool which is great for the cool months. They have a continental breakfast which includes bananas, bagels and cream cheese, pancakes which are amazing, yogurt, oatmeal, cold cereals, hard boiled eggs, juice, tea and coffee. They also offer little muffins and cakes. Mostly carbs, but we're on vacation so it's okay. My favorite is their coffee, pancakes, toasted bagel with cream cheese.

Bahama House has beautiful views and is right on the ocean. This is our go-to place when we visit Daytona Beach. The staff is professional, accommodating and friendly. Rooms and service are great. This is an older hotel but is well-kept. We enjoy the ambience and general "feel" of the place. Happy Hour is fun, and a continental breakfast is included (hard-boiled eggs, muffins, pancakes, yogurt, fruit...no meat). The only thing I would change are the pillows, but I have that issue everywhere! I usually bring my own...

Wow let me just say i'm impressed for sure !!! We booked this night on a whim so we could stay at disney world for a full day and not have a crazy 6 hr drive home . We figured we would stay somewhere nice but reasonable price wise . My husband found this place. Usually hes not the best at finding nice hotels so I was wary . We just got here 3 hours ago its pitch dark so we can barely see the beautiful beach but even in the night our view is STUNNING !!! I'm usually super super picky about hotels since i'm a huge germaphobe . If I sleep anywhere I always inspect the rooms to make sure they are clean and bug free. So far im so impressed on the cleanliness of this room . Whoever cleaned my room did an AMAZING job!!! Seriously whoever cleaned this room totally deserves a raise ! I would even say out of all the places I stayed at and ive stayed at sooooo many places even super expensive ones this might be the cleanest or one of the cleanest rooms i've ever stayed in . Floor super clean, beds all clean, bathrooms everything in here is soooo clean ! I'm going to sleep so peacefully knowing im in a clean room . Also other pros - the size of our room is perfect!!! I love the set up and just the space you have overall. The location is also soooo perfect!! We didn't get an ocean front room but ocean view and the view is still sooo stunning ! Im so happy we were put on the 10th floor . And super convenient that there is a regular sized fridge in our room. It makes it 1000x easier when traveling. Crazy that my husband picked this hotel out on a whim for one night. We're definitely going to plan a week long vacation here next. Whoever owns this and whoever manages this property is doing an amazing job !!! And again the house keeper whoever cleans deserves a raise , you can tell this room was cleaned good and not half fast clean like some places.

Went to another hotel first that was infested with bugs and gross. Came here and they showed my husband a room before we booked. It was so nice of them. The rooms are beautiful, the view is beautiful and the people working are beautiful. Thank you so much for the hospitality!!

I would have given this 5 stars BUT the breakfast has NO meat, which I find odd. Alot of pre packaged pasteries, soggy pancakes, cold cereal, packaged oatmeal and fruit. But no meat. Only eggs were hard boiled. The staff are great, housekeeping is the best. Just sad we had to go elsewhere for breakfast in the mornings.
